You’ve met Julie Anne Hart here many times before when we had a series of conversations on her H.O.W. laws on The Insights Within Podcast.
Since then, I’ve got questions about what it is to actually apply these laws in practice, and today you’ll get to peek behind the scenes of my own process.
I joined her group while we were in the middle of conducting the interviews and here’s some of what I’ve experienced working with the laws.
Diving deep into laws four and five, I’ve been called to reflect upon the matrix of my relations (law 4) and illumination of all that deceives (law 5).
These haven’t been easy topics. For me, at least. But all the more necessary.
Let’s start by a quote from law four (from the original channeling through Julie Anne):
“If you have experienced a painful relationship, a distasteful comment, a reaction from another or yourself. This is a sign that within you there is a need to clear your own energy field, how you feel about yourself. You will be required to move into more purity of spirit, of body and of mind. In doing so you eliminate a cause-and-effect consequence. When you relate in a way that is purer you will receive back what you give out, this is the law.”
Now, from personal experience, although the above is fully in alignment with what I’ve experienced and believe in, in this world, there of course are blind spots where we don’t yet quite live in alignment with our own truth.
And this is why the work with yourself is so important for leaders.
You need to constantly be working on yourself, with yourself, on a deeper and deeper level, so that you are able to relate to people, and lead people, from the true emotional, spiritual, mental and physical health and wellbeing. Beyond the perceptions of your mind.
That’s what the purer way of relating, that was mentioned in the law, means to me at the moment.
So, If there is a conflict, crisis or a challenge that you’re facing, it only illuminates the conflict, crisis and challenge that is within you. Inside you. Not outside of you.
And it is in your own full responsibility to understand yourself, beyond your current awareness, so that you’re able to be the leader you’re meant to be in that moment.
Even, and especially, when in the middle of change or otherwise uncomfortable situation.
Although I’ve been consistently dedicated to living according to this principle mentioned in the law for almost two decades, it still keeps on opening up in new ways and new areas in my life and leadership. Always bringing the work back to myself.
I’ve had to learn discernment in the process.
For if I’m being honest, many times I’ve tried to take on work that was not mine to work on. Just to soothe someone else’s path. Which is another lesson I’ve had to learn the hard way.
The truth is that you can’t do anyone else’s inner work. It’s just not possible. And even if it would, it’s not your responsibility. And it wouldn’t be fair. Not even when it would seemingly save someone from feeling uncomfortable.
You’d be robbing them the opportunity for growth and expansion. And that definitely doesn’t serve the higher good of anyone concerned.
Which leads us back to what certainly is within the top ten most painful discoveries I’ve made in my life.
My tendency to fawn, to people-please, as a survival mechanism, has been just that!
And I’ve been utterly unconscious of it!
But there’s more!
Further down in law four it says, and again this is a quote from the original channeling through Julie Anne, that:
“Your web of dysfunctional energy must be cleared. It will be cleared through what you experience. It is up to you to move your own dynamic in a way that promotes a new dynamic for the good of all.”
Isn’t that brilliantly said?
Well, it certainly hit home for me.
Big time.
Do you feel it?
Throughout all Julie Anne’s 12 laws of leadership ascension it emphasises that if you’re not taking the teachings that your experiences are offering to you, they will keep coming back again and again. Always in denser energies, until you get it.
I can tell you that this came back in pretty dense energy last year for me! On many occasions. I must’ve been avoiding this one for years, judged by the intensity of the experiences, ha! (And the truth is I had been.)
But seriously.
Can you see how it’s impossible to relate in a pure way when hooked up in living on any of the survival mechanisms? Fight, flight, freeze or fawn?
In the unhealthiness and dis-ease of your own relationship with yourself? And thus with others? And life?
It’s a deceit.
Of yourself.
Of others.
Of life.
And it’s at the centre of your ability to relate to and lead others. Including yourself. In connection to the truth beyond the perception of your mind.
That’s what I’ve been faced with in my own life and leadership. (There’d be many throw up emojis added here, if only I’d know how to do it – that’s how sickening it’s been to face this!)
And this discovery brings us straight to law five. Where it says, and yes, this too is a quote from the original channeling that came through Julie Anne, that:
“There can be no avoidance of the deception of both your inner and outer world. What you need to heal, and how you lead will present through an experience, a chance encounter, or a divine synchronised connection.”
And oh my, is this what happened to me? Yes.
Through a divine synchronised connection I was able to stop avoiding the deception and to see it. Acknowledge it. Accept it. And to start heal it. On a whole new level.
Looking back, it’s clear how this was the deceit to be illuminated so that I can move forward trusting myself more.
The deception of yourself, of life, and of your leadership is always illuminated for your advancement. For you to be able to trust in yourself more.
Law five furthermore states, and this is my favourite part, that:
“In your unconsciousness you will become conscious. In your deceit you will discover. There is no criticism here, only change. You will see and you will be shown.”
Amen to that.
Now, in retrospect, it’s always easier to see the purpose of your experiences, how they’re there to serve the higher good of all concerned.
The challenge for me, and yes, this is within me, the pinnacle of my inner work with myself at the moment, is to be and stay open, willing and ready to receive every experience that comes as an opportunity to release what does not serve anymore.
And deepen my new way of relating and leading in each moment. Not only in retrospect, but in the present moment.
To tap into the true health and wellbeing beyond the perceptions of my mind. Beyond the old, dysfunctional ways of dis-ease with myself, with life, and with others.
So, this is what working with the laws has been for me so far.
It certainly hasn’t been always easy, or what I’d want it to be. Yet, at the same time, I’ve already experienced deeper easing of the mind, and deeper levels of peace than I’ve ever experienced before as a consequence.
And they for sure have been a gateway to something new.
Ok, my friend, did any of this resonate with you?
What insights did you get? Of yourself? Of life? Of leadership?
With my all,
Paula
